I have had many jobs in my time, but the common theme throughout has been working with people.

I studied Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh before dashing off to Barcelona to be an au pair. When not with the kids I attended Spanish school which was so fun! Unfortunately most of that beautiful language has now dropped out of my brain, although I do get the odd dream in Spanish which is always a wonderful surprise.

Alas, I came home from Barcelona and back to sunny Aberdeenshire. I jumped in to a place at university to study Midwifery. What a key change! Every day I go to work I spend my time carefully watching family dynamics and interpersonal relationships. I am fascinated by the way we communicate with our nearest and dearest.

Since then I have had two children and a phone full to the brim of family photos.

All of these factors have brought me to photography and capturing beautiful memories for others. What a privilege! I absolutely love the candid in-between moments of life. I hope that I can capture them for you soon.
